The Club has purchased a new quad and has named it after the late Tony Downey at a ceremony held at the club on Saturday 30th September .
The Blessing of the boat was carried by Fr M.Mulvaney new parish priest at St Peter and Pauls and a large crowd was in attendance including Tony partner Claire and his Mother Roseleen and members of the Downey and Verdon Families
Athlone Boat Club Christmas Card will be available after gym training Tuesday & Thursday week commencing 28th Nov and Sunday morning 4th Dec 2016 from 10-11am
